Premium Nylon
Yarn is Chemically Treated to Resist Stains and Soiling
Premium
nylon yarn is the best. It not only wears longer, it also retains
its appearance longer. Plus it has a luxurious soft feel. Lloyd
Design uses 100% continuous filament nylon face. It’s the same
type of yarn used by many auto manufacturers for their original
equipment carpeting. If you look at other company’s mats and
the yarn is not identified as nylon, it’s a sure indication
that it’s a lesser quality mat.
High Density
Yarn and Half-inch Pile Height
A 48 ounce weave
of premium nylon yarn creates a carpet so dense you can barely dig
your fingers down through the yarn to the bottom of the mat. It’s
this heavy density that accounts for Lloyd’s exceptionally
long wearing mats.
Finished
with Nylon Velour Edging
Lloyd Mats are
finished with an attractive and durable color coordinated nylon
velour edging. There’s no yarn to unravel and no vinyl edging
to detract from the mat's appearance.
5-Layer Backing
Blocks Soil or Liquid Penetration, Dampens Noise, Provides Long
Life, and Prevents Slipping.
Below that dense
half-inch pile of carpet lies a woven polypropylene backing, a waterproof
urethane barrier, a noise dampening urethane cushion, an acrylic
non-woven backing, and Lloyd's textured TractionBac™. These
five layers are the foundation of quality that protects your original
carpets and provides luxury that lasts year after year.
Fasteners
are Compatible with Original Equipment
Wherever possible,
Lloyd mats have a fastening system that is compatible with any mat
fasteners provided by the vehicle manufacturer. All of Lloyd’s
other front mats have two Lloyd Fasteners. These patented devices
are easy to install and yet provide for fast mat removal for cleaning.
With TractionBac™ mat backing and Lloyd Fasteners, slipping
mats are a thing of the past.
